#SalesforceWinter27 [Tip 36 of 40] - Test Flows with Collection Inputs in the Debugger
Winter '27 lets you pass a list of values into a flow when you test it.
If your flow has an input variable that holds a primitive collection, such as a text collection of record IDs, you can now fill that collection directly when you test the flow.
Before, you could only enter single values, so testing a collection input meant editing the flow to set the values yourself. The values you enter apply to the test run only. Your flow isn't changed.
It works for screen flows and autolaunched flows.
Product Area: Flow
It needs Flow Test Mode (Beta) turned on. In Setup, open Process Automation Settings and select Flow Test Mode (Beta).
Here's an example. This autolaunched flow takes a text collection called inputAccountIds, marked Available for input. It gets the matching accounts and counts them.
In Test Mode, the Define Input Values section now accepts multiple values for that collection. Type the Account IDs separated by a semicolon and press Enter. Each ID becomes its own value, and the scenario runs with all three.
